Nearly 15 years after her disappearance, the ex-fiancé of a missing Orlando woman was arrested in connection with her disappearance this week.
Dale Smith was arrested Wednesday.
Michelle Parker was 33 when she disappeared on Nov. 17, 2011, setting off a massive search that stretched into years.
Smith was considered a prime suspect in her disappearance, but he was never arrested until now.
Here are some things to know about Michelle Parker and her case.
Mother of three with three jobs
Parker was born on Jan. 20, 1978 and graduated from Winter Park High School.
She and Smith had 3-year-old twins at the time of her disappearance. She also had an 11-year-old son from a previous relationship.
Parker was last seen dropping the twins off at Smith’s home in the area of Goldenrod and Lee Vista roads, on her way to her job as a bartender in Sanford.
That was one of three jobs Parker worked. Her family said she was also a hairdresser and had a home tanning business.

Parker’s iPhone was found three weeks later in a lake near Belle Isle.
After Parker’s disappearance, hundreds came out to aid the search. People and businesses also held fundraisers to help the family and raise money for a fund for the children.
A Facebook page dedicated to the search for Parker remains active 15 years later.
‘The People’s Court’

Parker and Smith taped an episode of the TV show “The People’s Court” to resolve a fight over an engagement ring. The episode aired the day Parker disappeared.
Smith said Parker threw it off a hotel balcony during a big fight and it was never found. He wanted Parker to pay $5,000 for the ring.
Parker said Smith could be mean and vindictive. During her testimony on the show, Parker said the fight began at a bar where Smith allegedly made a derogatory comment to her, and when she tried to leave, he grabbed her and started screaming at her. Parker said security guards pulled him away and escorted her out through another exit. She said Smith refused to let her go back to their hotel room, so she got police and security to take her to her room to get her things.
Parker said she threw the ring at him when he asked for it. She said she saw the ring land on Smith’s chest. Smith was standing with his back toward the balcony. He said it bounced off the railing and fell down nine floors into an atrium.
After that, the two drove home separately. Parker said that when she got home, the two resolved their differences, and they went on for a few more months until there was another argument.
Parker said she had told a friend she was thinking of moving out. That’s when she said Smith got a moving truck, packed up some of her things and the children’s things, and dropped her off at her mother’s house before leaving town.
Smith said Parker said she would pay for the ring, but Parker said Smith suggested that they each pay for half to get a replacement ring, but then they split up.
Parker told the judge the incident at the hotel was not the first time Smith had put his hands on her. She also accused him of cheating.
“It’s been a hell of a roller coaster ride,” Parker said on the show. “And it’s poison and we’re done.”
In the end, the judge on the show ordered Parker to pay $2,500 to Smith.
After Parker’s disappearance, her mother, Yvonne Stewart, told ABC News in 2011 that Parker said taping the show was, “The most humiliating experience of my life. I don’t even ever want to see it. I wish I had never gone.”
