After a pleasant stretch of weather this week, Central Florida is heading into another windy weekend.

Wednesday & Thursday

Northeast winds will continue at 10–15 mph, with gusts up to 20–25 mph. A few quick coastal showers are possible, especially south of Cape Canaveral, but most inland areas should stay dry.

Highs will reach the upper 70s to low 80s, and lows will generally fall into the upper 50s to low 60s.

Windier weekend

Winds pick up Friday, then strengthen further Saturday and Sunday. Sustained winds could reach 35–40 mph, with higher gusts.

Wind Advisories may be needed, especially along the coast, and breezy conditions could linger into early next week.

Rain chances also increase slightly into the weekend as more moisture moves in. Coastal areas have the best chance of showers, though some rain could reach inland locations 20-30%.

Temperatures stay fairly seasonable, with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Strong onshore winds will keep overnight lows warmer, especially near the coast.

Coastal hazards

Stronger onshore winds and high tides could bring another round of hazardous beach conditions starting Friday. Expect rough surf, dangerous rip currents, beach erosion, and the potential for minor coastal flooding.
