Our next cold front will make its presence known Saturday morning, and the weather pattern it leaves behind will leave Central Florida feeling delightful.
Tonight
As our cold front approaches Central Florida overnight, spotty showers through the overnight and into early Saturday morning are possible. We will see a gradual uptick in cloud cover as the evening rolls on as well. Lows will only drop into the low-mid 70s as our winds primarily remain out of the SW ahead of this front.
Saturday
Our cold front finally arrives Saturday morning. Off & on rainfall is expected for the first half of the day under cloudy skies. After lunchtime, the front will have cleared our area. We will keep mostly cloudy skies for the second half of the day as strong NNE winds begin to take over. We will see winds sustained 15-25mph, gusting 25-30mph Saturday afternoon. We will keep windy conditions through Saturday night as the skies begin to gradually clear. Highs will only reach the mid-upper 70s.
Sunday
Winds increase a touch moving into Sunday as an area of low pressure forms along this front to our north and east. Winds will increase to sustained 20-25mph out of the NNE with gusts ranging 30-40mph. The highest gusts will be along the coast, including Daytona Beach for Biketober Fest. A few quick moving sprinkles are possible along the coast coming in off that stiff ocean flow. Highs will once again only reach the mid-upper 70s after starting off our Sunday morning in the 60s.
