A Reddick woman is facing murder charges after a man was stabbed to death, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to a home on W. Highway 318 at approximately 3:15 a.m. Saturday after receiving a call about a stabbing. Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from a stab wound, the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies rendered aid, but the victim died at the scene. The suspect remained on scene when deputies arrived and was taken into custody for questioning, the sheriff’s office said.

Detectives later arrested 33-year-old Amy Hogg and charged her with second-degree murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
